CONGRATULATIONS on purchasing a Roolo® and joining the Play9 family!
Here you’ll find everything you need to know about The Roolo®. We’ll be updating this page regularly with more training tips and tricks so make sure to check back often.
Getting started with your Roolo®
If your dog hasn’t used a treat dispensing toy before then here’s how to set them up to win:
Add Treats
Fill up the Roolo® with you pooches favourite dry treats and place it on the floor…
Play & Explore
Allow them to have a sniff and investigate, making sure to give praise when they paw, nudge, or nose it…
Get Rewards!
Slowly roll the Roolo® over so a treat falls out, allow them to get the treat, give a “YES, good boy/girl”, then repeat a few times until they understand how to get the treats!
For most dogs this process is immediate without the above steps, but for some it may take a little time…
Don’t worry though, this is completely normal, and once they get it you’ll know!!!

Roolo® Safety
Dog’s welfare is of the utmost importance to us. Please make sure to read and follow the below safety instructions. You are responsible for the well-being and safety of your own dog/s, there’s no such thing as an indestructible toy.
- Remove all packaging before use
- Discontinue use if at all damaged
- Do not leave outside unattended
- Do not leave food inside
- Do not use wet food
- Never leave your dog unattended with any dog toy
- Inspect your dog toys frequently and replace if needed
- Don’t force treats inside if they don’t easily fit
- The Roolo® is not a chew toy, if your dog begins to chew The Roolo® then take it away immediately to prevent damage
Roolo® Care
Please follow the care instructions so that you can look after your Roolo® and ensure your pooch gets lots of treats, enjoyment and playtime's!
- To clean, simply rinse with warm water and a little washing up liquid, wipe the outside with a damp cloth and leave to drain and dry with the largest hole on the underside
- To keep The Roolo® shining simply give it a quick wipe with a damp cloth after use or whenever you feel the need.
- Make sure The Roolo® is fully dry before use. At room temperature this should only take a few hours.
- Do not use boiling water to wash
- Do not use in the dishwasher
- Do not leave on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight

Roolo® Top Tips
There are so many benefits to Roolo® play for your pooch. Here’s some top tips to make sure you’re getting the most from it!
Treats
- We recommend mixing or breaking up the size of your dry treats to change dispersion times. Just make sure you aren’t forcing treats that are too big!
- Either sit The Roolo down on your lap with the big hole facing up or simply hold it in one hand while you load your waglet’s favourite dry treats in with the other!
- For super speedy loading use a funnel to load your waggers fav dry treats
Training & Use
- Some pooches take a little time to understand how to use The Roolo, especially if it’s they are new to enrichment toys. If this is the case please don’t worry, it’ll just take a little training. Play with The Roolo® with them, rolling it gently by yourself and allowing treats to come out so that they can munch them up as they do, always giving a “Yes, good girl/boy” whenever they get the treat or nudge, paw, or snout the Roolo®.
- After your doggo understands how to use The Roolo® you can keep them extra fulfilled by allowing them to use it in different settings. Indoors, outdoors, on different floors…
- Once you’re doggo is tuckered out from their Roolo® play make sure to put it somewhere out of reach, ideally where they won’t be able to see or smell it.
